Cuetzalan

A quaint mountain town worth the trip :)

I went a while ago while I was living in Puebla, and it took a good 3 hours to get there with the not-well-kept winding road. At least back then, not much of the western culture had permeated in the locals.

It’s a bit cold since it’s up in the mountains, and it can be rainy, too. They sell beautiful textiles at good prices.

A small town in the sierra de puebla, it is rainy all year, it has a little restaurant that is bohemious and you can sing there. Loved that place, Ive been in Cuetzalan maybe 5 times. In the pic, a friend of mine.

Cuetzalan has got it all: waterfalls, caves and pyramid ruins. Wonderful weekend trip.
