Good food, bad prices! by shonbayer

I’m not too price sensitive about restaurants (I’m happy to pay a lot for commensurate quality) so I think that The Clay Pit is a bit to pricey for the food that it serves. But, if you’re willing to pay $15-$20 for good (but not stellar) Indian food, then you won’t be disappointed. The atmosphere is great too.

Go for lunch — there’s a super cheap buffet.

It’s not one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to, but I don’t think it’s spectacular either. Those cracker things they serve you as an appetizer are kind of gross, and a lot of their dishes aren’t that great either. The only good thing I ever had here was some kind of curry. If I want Indian food in Austin, I’ll just go to Sarovar.
