The "West Vancouver" of the North Fraser by richardpitt

Between Port Coquitlam and Maple Ridge, bordered by the Pitt River to the West (flows backwards at high tide) and the Fraser River to the South, with Pitt Lake to the North (largest tidal lake in the world).

Pitt Meadows’ main core is surrounded by flood-plains and agricultural land reserve so can’t grow much. Population is around 17,000 (2006) and won’t get much larger.

I’ve been here for just over 13 years and despite the last name, have no claim to owning anything but the house we live in :)
