A review of this place: Independent bookstore and cafe

A decent bookstore on Connecticut Ave in DC. Good selection of fiction, histiry, politics, and current events books… not so great selection of science and reference books. Attractive childrens room and a sale area with reading tables. The cafe is a nice place to sit, but there is much better food up the block at Marvellous Market.

Very nice and roomy bookstore—good author talks and atmosphere. If you’re near Van Ness and like books, I’d definitely recommend a visit.
