Cosmo Pieterse, my English prof. From South Africa in apartheid 1979, forget Wuthering Heights bs, hello Chinua Achebe, Toni Morrison, Zora Neale Thurston. Man did that guy open up my world. Athens is a small town, the only blue county in Ohio. Where knowledge thrives, minds explore and question. The contrast between Southern Appalachia and brilliant minds from all over the world…incredible for the main stream, middle class kids that went there. The absolute best journalism school in the country, forget Columbia and Northwestern… O.U. was grittier, tougher, more personally challenging, startling. I loved every minute.

I always went here to visit friend for their annual halloween party which was mayhem. This is supposed to be a very haunted campus. I only suggest going here if you know someone to visit but don’t go out of your way to stop there.

OU is one of the most beautiful camuses i have ever seen it’s in the middle on nowhere, but that’s what makes it so great.

ummmmm i like to drink soo it works for me… but graduting soon… soo happy to leave.
