Border Cafe

Lively atmosphere, friendly service, mondo margaritas at fairly low prices, not to mention a yummy mix of Tex-Mex and Cajun food. I always have fun bringing friends here, and its location in the Square (right near the Church Street movie theatre and down the block from the Brattle) can’t be beat. Hard to get in anytime after 7 on Friday or Saturday, long lines. But go for an early weekend dinner or anytime during the week, kick back and have fun.

I’ve only been to the one on Route 1, but I’ve heard they are affiliated. The food is really good, very casual atmosphere, good Mexican beer. Don’t go for a romantic night! Gets noisy and there are lots of families that frequent this place.
