Hanley is a busy place both in the daytime and at night time weekends.The regent theatre and the victoria hall are here as is the potteries museum and art gallery.The main nightlife area is around trinity street.A couple of good traditional pubs are the jovial forester,in marsh st. the unicorn in picadilly and the coachmakers arms,lichfield st.Pastiche is a nice modern bistro and the lounge is a nice coffee/smoothie bar.The museum houses a genuine spitfire aircraft,along with ceramics and local history galleries.There are loads of shops and the potteries shopping centre,a modern indoor mall.
