I went to the Science Centre today for the first time, the Tower was closed and the Imax cinema was showing something crappy but the exhibits are good. It’s oriented towards children (your knees will give out trying to sit on the stools) but I found myself enjoying it more and more as I went around.

I was in a bit of a foul mood when I arrived but the experiments and displays force you to act in a silly way so you’re forced to get involved if you want to make the most of it. It goes a long way to recapturing some of your sense of wonder but it’s not great for the self-conscious.
