Worth visiting, especially after by onebaygirl
having visited Giverny. A small museum with an impressive collection. Easy to fit in to any length trip to Paris, AND it’s located in the beautiful Tuileries!

Monet’s waterlilies are beyond beautiful over 4 years agoMore than Monet by Ninja NekoEven though the Monets alone are worth visiting this museum, they also have some Renoirs, Picassos, Cézannes, and many more. A very nice (small) museum, with excellent lighting and not too crowded. I’m very glad we visited here. over 5 years agoA great museum by TOne of the smallest that I visited in Paris, but also one of the most striking. You can sit for absolutely ages looking at each painting (as long as you’re not too annoyed by all the people taking pictures of themselves). It’s also free on the first Sunday of the month, though it can be a long wait as they only allow a certain number of people in the museum at any one time. over 5 years agoUntitled by Ursula HaighBecause I ♥ Monet’s work! I have actually been here TWICE. The first time in 1999-closed for renovations! The second time-closed on the day I had set aside for it while in Paris:{ See all 7 entries |
