Clovelly

Amazing place to put a town. Would be a good place to write a book, rather hard to get to, and even in season, I imagine it’s quite quiet. The bar at the top of the hill has some high octane cask ales.

There are two sections of town, the top is very steep, then once you get to the bottom of that section, there is a curved stairs to lesser sloped section of town by the water.

If you have problems walking/hiking, or are out of shape don’t go here.(at least off season) You have to walk down/up from the car park which is at the very top. [There is some way to drive to the hotel at the bottom, but I did not see any signs, and did not have a good map]

Lovely little village, very severe slope down with poor little donkeys with sledges the streets are so steep, but a lovely place with a good pub at the bottom on the beach.
