St Jacques Des Blats

This fantastic little village in the Auvergne is 5 minutes away from the ski resort of Le Lioran. Winter sports are catered for including ski and snow board, ice skating and snow rackets. In the summer you can enjoy the gorges and waterfalls in this stunning volcanic area. We stayed at a fantastic B&B called ‘les sources’ run by an English couple, Janine and Neill Murray. It’s a long drive from the uk and we needed an overnight stop with 2 children in the car but Ryanair fly to Limoges and Rodez, both are about 2-2 1/2 hours away.
