Orange

I went to Orange for the first time about a week and a half ago. It’s a quaint, cute little town outside of Fredricksburg. However, it’s one of those places where you have to bring your own fun. Theres not really much in the town in terms of entertainment, and Fredricksburg is about 40 minutes away.

I personally liked it, and have been back another time since my first trip there.

I’m from Orange… and it is very little. But, you have to get there for the Montpelier Hunt Races – the first weekend in November. The whole town comes alive! If you can’t make it then, every weekend is full of small town charm. Great sunsets over the mountains.

My ex lived here, and I visitied the area several times. The landscape is lovely, but the town is miniscule. Stick to bigger towns.
