Singapore River

Singapore river runs inland, called at points, Boat Quay, Clarke Quay and Robertson Quay.
Boat Quay is in the business district and has lots of bars and resteraunts.
Clarke Quay is mostly resteraunts and shopping.
Finally Robertson Quay is residential and resteraunts.
I live at River Place in Robertson and it’s very nice. :)

We took a bum boat river cruise along the Singapore river, saw a beautiful side of the place. I love water travel and this little cruise was great for seeing how Singapore has developed. There is a recorded commentary which tells us a lot.

I’ve wanted to visit Singapore for a long time, but I want to visit the Singapore River specifically so I can get my picture taken near the Merlion (mermaid-lion) statue there. I saw it in a TV show once; plus that thing’s a tourism symbol as it is.
