Truckee

When I travelled here it was a trip by greyhound, one of the things that caught my attention is just off the road travelling to the stop I saw what looked like a suburban just off the road, and a guy was fishing there in the stream that is right along one of the main roads, really fun.

Been wanting to go there again because it is simple and it’s has that small town charm that makes it unique.

Who ever is thinking of going there for a holiday… prepare to be shunned by the locals. we do not, i repeat DO NOT, like gapers, people from the bay, people who only live here as a second home… sorry to say that unless you are a local or know a local… truckee is not for you.

on the other hand if you are coming to truckee (t-town) to live, then we welcome you with open arms. in order to fit in as a local you must enjoy the following;

-SNOW and sub zero days about 8 months out of the year

-extreme snowboarding and skiing

-camping

-wakeboarding or any other lake oriented activities ie; spending whole days just sitting on the docks by donner

-muchos amounts of mexican food

-hiking and biking

-animals… most importantly a love for dogs
