Helbra

I’ve grown up in Helbra and can’t believe I put “worth visiting” here, since all I ever wanted to do is leave. But then again it is a tranquil place. Maybe not the touristy type of thing, but close-by you’ll find Lutherstadt Eisleben, the town Martin Luther was born and died. There are a lot of Luther-connections all over place, like the Luther-Gymnasium (a high school) in Eisleben, which was actually founded by Luther. And about an hour away there are the Harz mountains for brilliant strolls through nature, castles and witches on the HExentanzplatz near Thale and so much more!!
