Children's Discovery Museum

Don’t let the small size and town ownership fool you. This is a first-class Children’s Museum, on par with the Boston Children’s Museum and the Discovery House in St. Louis. It’s absolutely amazing to have such a great resource available in (a smaller) town! It’s right downtown, directly across the tracks from the Normal Amtrak station. Do watch out when taking the kids, however – Emack and Bolio’s Ice Cream Shoppe is directly next door :)
