Ukiah

This is my home town! Yeah there might not be much to do as a kid but you can’t beat the scenery. If you were a kid here you probably cruised up and down State Street about six times a night, made out at the lake, went hiking, or hung out at the Ukiah 6. Not many people outside this place even know what Frisbee Golf is and if you asked them about the Sequoias they’d say “the what”. If you don’t think this place is worth visiting, try coming to the desert! At least there you can go thirty miles and see the most beautiful part of the pacific ocean I only dream of now.

I want to buy Joshy a pint or five!!!

This is my hometown – don’t blink, or you’ll miss it! Unfortunately, growing up here wasn’t the best, mainly because there’s not much to do :(

I’m really close to my oldest son (20) – As a single mom w/3 sons, we’ve all made a great bond over the years. Now leaving the nest is the problem! I can see that I didn’t give them much to rebel against and I genuinely like being around them. But it’s time to go already!

Anyone else in this situation?

Totally awesome, dog-friendly, luxury get-away cottages. Calm and relaxing and a great way to recharge one’s batteries. Cannot wait to go again…we stayed in the Rose Arbor.
