I would have to agree that the baguettes are pretty good here. Even better than Firehook. The ham and cheese sandwich I had was very good. I’d go back. This place is a very good value.

Tasty sandwiches (+ more) by David Mihalcik

I finally made it yesterday, when the gf had a half day and we could hit the NGA and get some lunch downtown. We got off the Metro at Farragut North and walked down to the restaurant. It was fairly crowded when we arrived (around one or 1:30), and we ordered our sandwiches – a spicy African chicken and a German saurkraut and sausage with fries, and picked up a lemonade and a big, tasty brownie. Good food, reasonably priced (I think we ended up a little over $10 a person), it kept us going for the walk down Penn to the NGA.
