Mission San Fernando

Very underrated mission, don’t miss the beautiful little chapel in the back, and the peacocks that run the grounds.

My favorite display was of two narrow bone fragments, each about 3 inches long, identified as having belonged to one or more of the founding friars, brusquely encased in a hinged plastic Swingline brand staples case, the raised logo half-obscuring the view of the relics.
