Top Pot Doughnuts

Is how the crowd changes on the weekend.

since i live just a couple blocks from here – i get their coffee regularly. their pulls of espresso are not consistent [i have my favorite baristas], but it’s always fine. i do think the reason i always go back is just for the smell of sweet, tasty doughnuts. i try to get them only rarely [i mean c’mon! bits of dough that have been boiled in oil and then topped with a glaze of sugar!], so smelling the sweetness awakens my senses as much as the coffee does!

But sometimes the music is bad.
