A review of this place: Very interesting.
I loved this museum. I learned alot and enjoyed the tiny models of historic city layouts. It was beautifully done, in that oh-so-japanese intricate while simple style. It was historic and artistic at the same time. As much a museum to learn about history as about Japanese style. I would go back next time I go to Japan. I highly recommend it.

Description
This museum has many replicas of villages, and life size replicas of a bridge and several buildings. It also contains old artifacts and gives a sense of every day life back in time. Introduction of turn of the century technology is introduced, and the origins of a department store are shown with a model of the store. The visit to this museum was very fulfilling.
