Why I recommend this place to visitors
Easy access, nice hot pools, and plenty of opportunity to meet people from all over. The pools have a wheelchair-accesible ramp. Imagine if your bathtub were an olympic-sized swimming pool…

Enjoy Dragon Tears
According to local indian legend, the hot springs find their of origin from Two “dragon-like creatures” which engaged in a mighty and desperate battle. Distraught after fighting to a standstill, each of the creatures crawled into separate caves where they weep tears of shame.
The Sol Duc Resort of today is apparently substantially more modest than the one that existed sixty years ago, but people still enjoy the “hot tears” of the Sol Duc dragon.
The resort is open from late spring through early fall and offers cabins (some cooking cabins), a dining room, gift shop, a swimming pool, three mineral water pools, therapeutic massage, snackbar, and RV sites.
There is also a small National forest campsite not far away.
