Aoyama

We walked on Omote-sando, heading towards Harajuku. This area looks new and clean. The shops are well spaced, and many side streets contain shops and restaurants. There are many brand name stores along Omote-sando, especially near Omotesando Hills. Accordingly, the people on the street are well-dressed. On Sun. Feb. 5th, we saw a 20-30 something crowd and a number of tourists, especially ones with children.

Notable stores include the Oriental Bazaar marked as an excellent souvenir shop in travel guides.
