Breathtaking view...

I would insist that anyone visiting Cape Town drive along the ocean shore to Cape Point and witness this breathtaking view.

A trip to Cape Point is a must for any Cape Town visitor.

The southern end of the Cape Peninsula actually boasts two points of interest the Cape of Good Hope and just a little further south Cape Point.

From the parking lot, you reach the peak of Cape Point Peak by either walking or taking the rack railway.

Stone stairs lead to the old lighthouse on the Cape Point Peak, 250 metres above sea level.

To the west one can see the Cape of Good Hope and fantastic ocean views.

Along the way you may be lucky to see antelope, ostrich, and baboons—do not open your car windows to the later, nor get too close if on foot… especially if carrying food of any kind as unfortunately too many fools have fed them to the point were they can now be extremely aggressive.
