Malmesbury

I lived just outside Malmesbury when growing up, so the place has a lot of fond memories. Still, the Abbey is worth a look if you are in the area and the higstreet is nice. The Smoking Dog is a good pub and has a good selection of ales and if you are a stranger to the UK then its a good representation of a good quality British pub. (And yes, that does mean that the beer will be ‘warm.’)

Fantastic and beautiful town, oldes Borough in England. Great walks around for tourists and lots of old and interesting places to go (and lots of old and interesting people to meet too… Try to find the Abbey’s gardner, Henry. You can’t miss his red pullover and bobble hat)

Great place.
