Vernal

We stayed at the Dinosaur Inn on Night 9. Vernal is nice, although this particular hotel was kinda noisy.

Young children have a great time here. It’s near Dinosaur National Monument. You can go there and see an active dinosaur quarry, where the bones have been exposed in the rock.

There is also a museum in the town with a dinosaur garden. They have life-size fiberglass models of dinosaurs. Many of the local businesses have dinosaurs on their signs, or model dinosaurs set up on the premises.

My son loved visiting this place when he was a little boy.

There are dinosaurs wandering the street and all he sees are the flowers they plant to hide them.

I’m looking forward to visit this America In Bloom City one day. I’ve heard that it has some of the most amazing floral displays and hanging baskets of any city in North America of its size.
