Hermann Park

This park is the best in Houston(in my opinion). It is surrounded by the museum district, has art, a zoo, the miller outdoor theatre is here, great for picnics, ride the mini-train, japanese gardens, reflecting pool, small lake, a 2 mile jogging trail, even a golf course. There are also always all kinds of events happening here. I love this park most dearly of all things Houston, I can’t believe that nobody bothered adding it until now. The only explanation is that everyone added everything that is in and around the park, so they forgot that this was all part of the park.

just go to Hermann Park. It’s absolutely gorgeous, there are trees everywhere, and it’s green year-round. They’ve recently spent millions of dollars on renovations, and it’s never looked better.
