But aside from that, when I finally got to this place a few years back to see A Perfect Circle and the Mars Volta I was pleasantly surprised to see what a good arena it was for a show. Pretty good sound and the open floor area was never too crowded. It helped that both bands were great as well, naturally. Seeing the Cure here in 1992 would have been amazing (but I won’t complain about the Rose Bowl show)…and then of course there’s an Iron Maiden live album of note…
