The Agora

The Agora is simply wonderful. It’s a great place to go for a walk in the morning in Athens, before it gets really hot outside. The three days we stayed in Athens, every morning we would get up and buy these big, juicy navel oranges from a fruit stand in the Plaka and then walk through the Agora eating our breakfast and looking at all the fallen columns, giant statues, and imagining what it all used to look like centuries ago. The Agora is filled with big, red poppies… it’s beautiful!

Its so boring! Its just a bunch of ruins no more than a few inches off the ground, and I think they make you stay on marked pathways. It is so boring.
