Trees Of Mystery

Anyway, the trees of mystery are great. Its worth the price of admission to ride the tram and see the views.

This place rocked! The Paul Bunyan thing was weird, but the trees were really cool. We stayed in the motel there. The room wasn’t the greatest, but it wasn’t bad. Just before dark, we took the trail back to the Hidden Beach. It was so beautiful!

Visiting here was a last-minute decision, as we headed down the west coast coming home from Mount St. Helens. It sounded sort of interesting, but turned out to be a really great stop. The redwood forest is gorgeous, and there are lot of informational signs throughout the trail. Plus, we got to take a sky-way (gondola) ride up over the trees, to a wonderful lookout spot. Definitely worth the stop.

The first time I went here, I was six years old and I still remember sitting on Paul Bunyon’s shoe while he talked to me! It is a very cute place to take your kids and adults will love it because the tree formations are breath taking!

Every time I drive down to my hometown of Arcata, Cali, we stop here at the trees of mystery. It’s a family tradition.
