Slanted Door

We were very early so we checked into the cocktail lounge and had pink champagne and oysters.

Dinner consisted of:
crab and asparagus soup with white pepper and sesame
curried tofu with lemongrass, cauliflower, carrots and sweet potatoes
spicy squid with pineapple, sweet red peppers, jalapenos and thai basil
cellophane noodles with fresh Dungeness crab meat

2 in our party got a dessert glass of Pommeau, which was later likened to apple-flavoured lighter fluid. For dessert we all shared “warm apple-pear compote in walnut phyllo nest” and “candied kumquat butter cake”.

Great place to eat.
