Philadelphia Zoo

I was really little when I first went to the Philadelphia Zoo. All I remember is that there were peacocks everywhere! There was this tiger and when I looked at him I said to my mom, “Look, he’s standing so still…” That’s when I realized he was peeing. It was quite funny actually.

We’ve been twice, the last time this past weekend. The big cats exhibit was closed for renovations, but there were plenty of other animals to be seen, and although it was chilly and rainy, it wasn’t that cold, so most of the outdoor animals were outside.

The red pandas, which are more closely related the raccoons than pandas, also called the firefox (yup, like the browser), were my favorite, followed by some of the primates.
