Seattle
Not worth visiting!
A review of this place: Best avoided
The Metro lacks both the arty charm of most of Seattle’s other Landmark theaters and the slickness of a multiplex like Pacific Place. It’s fairly dank and unclean and has small screens and uncomfortable seats. There seems to be a higher-than-average percentage of movie talkers here, too. Overall, it feels more like a second-run house than a place that should be charging full price.

A review of this place: Huge rats!
During the movie the largest rat (as long as a grown man’s forearm) I have ever seen scurried across the wall of the theater – twice! Some people got up and left (it was almost the end of the movie so we stuck it out). On the way out we stopped to talk to the manager but kept going when he was already speaking to another patron; we overheard him explain that they know about the rats and that it is an ongoing problem. They offered no refunds and no apologies. Metro is the closest movie theater to our house, but I am certain that we will not be returning, it’s worth the extra drive to not have to worry about being bitten while watching a movie!

Untitled
Saw Star Wars here with my parents. I remember there being some unusual drinks at the concession stand. There’s a parking lot across the street and one next to the theater. They both charge you, but the one next to the theater has validation for the first hour. You can probably find parking elsewhere too if you don’t mind walking a bit. When I showed up a few minutes late to a show once, they were nice enough to let me know that only the first two rows of the theater were still available before I bought tickets.
