Finsbury Park

Finsbury Prk itself has been rennovated and is very nice, with free tennis courts. There’s a nice walk along the disused railway line to Hioghbury or up to Crouch End.

There’s a decent Indian Vegetarian Restaurant and a great litle pub called “The Flatering Fullback”. There are shops selling African and Turkish food.

There is some pleasant, if unremarkble Victorian terraced housing, though there is also a great chuch called St Meletius.

I live in Finsbury Park and it rocks – good, semi-secret pubs, 24 hour booze and independent supermarkets, and dirt cheap rent (and, yeah, dirt, but hey, it’s London).
