Hugelsheim

I lived in “Hugie” for four years as a child.Much better than living on the base!!!Our landlady and landlord were like grandparents to me.
I remember getting my shoes at Sophies shoe shop on the main street.I also remember watching the little train go through the town.I would love to go back again.

This is a tiny town just outside the military base of Baden-Sollengen, Germany.
My ex, two sons and I lived here for a short while first when we got transferred to Germany.
Once I got over my homesickness ( lol ) , I loved it !! so quaint, beautiful farmland, on the “edge” of the Black Forest,and within a stroll of the Rhine River overlooking a small town in France !

I would love to go back for a visit someday.
