Write an entry Entries about this placeI loved it! by Ri73This is such a beautyful place… beaches are gorgeous… Crossing to the far side of the island to see Castelhanos beach is a shaky trip, but the almost virgin beaches are worth it. I want to go back… just for taking more pictures over 5 years agomosquito by Marina Vieirabe careful with the mosquitos called “borrachudos” Beautiful Island by ghjuniorCalm beaches on the side that faces the mainland. There are two good beaches for surfing: Castelhanos (by jeep) and Bonete (only by foot or boat). Great spots for windsurfing too (try Ponta das Canas up north).
