I lived there for 19yrs and it’s the best place in Orange County. It’s quiet enough to enjoy the nature but close enough to everything to drive. Surrounded by the freeways everything is easy access. The circle is a great place to look at all sorts of antiques drink coffee and maybe even enjoy an “underground” concert. It’s home! over 5 years agoI kinda know Orange only in a sporadic way by NedRaggettThanks to two good friends who live there, and mostly we just go and see them and don’t head out anywhere else when we all visit, so there is that. But there are fun things to be found around and about in Orange, and I remember the old town center to be kinda cool! Might reinvestigate more fully one day. over 5 years agoIf you're in an antique-y mood... by mackro..then definitely stop by downtown Orange. You’ll find more places than you can count. Granted, most of the actual stuff is overpriced, since it is a centrally known place for such things, but it’s one of the few oases of O.C. where you see some nice rustic parts of the region. I have a friend or two who lives in the upper floors of downtown Orange, which has really neat lodgings with high ceilings and old ceiling designs. Otherwise, there’s not much else going on outside the downtown area really. Still, downtown is worth visiting. over 5 years agoSee all 8 entries |
