Claremore from my point of view. by Underthenoise

A lot of nothing goes on in Claremore, We have little to do but somehow we always keep busy. If we arent watching a movie at our tiny little theatre, or bowling at the run down bowling alley we are hanging out in some boring parking lot. Wal-Mart seems to be the only place interesting things happen around here. Wal-Mart makes us happy cookies as much as we all hate it, but admit we MUST have it.

Sometimes taking a drive around the lake is interesting, at night the back roads can be scary, a few little cemetaries are near by makes for a spooky trip. If it rains Cat Creek floods S. Muskogee Ave.

We have a few historical monument around. The Will Rogers Museum and Birth Place, The Belvedere Mansion, and that stupid Everlasting Flame, which by the way dosent last forever.

We are located in a valley, which makes Tornadoes skip over us everytime. I don’t think we’ve ever had one. Some of the local Native American’s think that the Indians put a protection spell on it to keep away tornadoes. Either way, we are lucky.

We have a lake that we can’t swim in and a Public Pool we can’t swim in either. :(

If you are planning on visiting Claremore, i suggest you bring something to occupy your time. There isnt much to see or do around here, however Tulsa is close by and can prove to be very interesting.
