i love tobago i went wen i wuz little but i remember everyting i did there wit my family…it is truly a beautiful placa and it is just like paradise..!!!

My party and I went to the airport to ask for recommendations/directions on places to stay.

She got on the phone, then got off the phone, then said to us:

“Drive up this road, here and make a left. You’ll see a green bar. Go in and ask for Pumpy. He’ll direct you.”

It was, by far, the best directions I’ve ever gotten from a booking agent.

We eventually made it to the home of this woman who rents out the bottom half of her house for US$20 per person per night. It came with a full huge kitchen, furnished livingroom with cable, and large comfy beds. Oh, and a shower with hot water. Can you believe that?? Twenty bucks!

Also, we made some nice Rastafarian friends on our stay, who were more than hospitable. Ask for Captain Christopher if you go on the glassbottom boat snorkeling tour.

I was born in Trinidad but never had the luxury of visiting Tobago. From what I’ve heard and seen, it is sooo beautiful there! Hopefully when I go home to visit this year, I’ll get a chance to go over there, God’s willing.
