Belle Isle

Belle Isle isn’t anything too special but it has its really pretty spots. You can see the border of Downtown Detroit and Windsor right across the river. If you go at twilight on a really clear night, it’s worth it to watch the sunset. Unfortunately, it gets a little rowdy during the really warm summer days/nights. My family and I used to go a lot when I was younger but not so much anymore because some of the appeal is lost and gone.

Once to go to the zoo (is that even still there?) and once with a man that I wasn’t supposed to be out with. :)

Belle Isle is one of the hottesst places to be on weekend evenings. Their is the “Strip” where tons of hot guys and nice-looking girls sit on top their cars and motorcycles willing to meet new people. It’s also reall fun by the playscape.Every now and then you can get a free concert hosted by the radio station.

It was for my friends 16th and the fountain wasn’t even on but we had a blast!

Belle isle is the best!!! If you are a Detroiter, you should already know….
