    Not worth it!

Not a true Little Italy anymore. It’s shrinking in size and the tourists keep coming, which pushes out the few Italians still living there. Go out to parts of Brooklyn for better Italian food.

Overall, don’t expect this to be a Disney-fied, Epcot Italy.

I was on a high school art trip for a week and we went to Little Italy! The food was amazing. I loved being able to talk Italian to the older women who were baking!

I was here when italy won the 2006 World Cup! It was totally crazy – the streets were crowded with italian and italian wanna-bes, all singing and cheering!

I was in CT for work, and a few of us took the train to Penn Station, then asked the cab driver to take us here. We walked until we found a little cafe with tables on the sidewalk and had some delicious pasta. I wish we’d had more time to explore.

not as authentic as it used to be… the more the tourists come, the residents leave. there are better places to get an italian experience in new york… parts of brooklyn have italian neighborhoods

It’s true what they say about Little Italy that it is gradually shrinking as china town grows, however that doesn’t stop them selling good food. I had some particularly good desserts at a place called Cafe Palermo.
