St. Peters

One place on earth I feel safe! Living in St. Peters feels comfortable. It’s one of the first cities I’ve ever lived in that I’m not afraid. The are many cities that I’ve lived in where I never felt like I could trust anyone. I grew up in St. Louis, MO…and Covina, CA…Phenoix, AZ…Carson City, NV….Rolla MO,....and Columbia, MO. This city, St. Peters, MO is so different from those other places. I can walk around my neighborhood,take my kids to the park, shop, and relax. I know that there is evil everywhere; including St. Peters however, I have never felt more safe than living here in this city!

“AFFORDABLE HOUSING?”

What part of St. Peters do YOU live in? St. Charles County MO is one of the most expensive places to live, it is NOT ‘wholesome’ or ‘anything’ friendly unless you have enough money to build a bigger house than the one next to you, otherwise no one wants you here.
Nothing to do here but go shopping at one of a million strip malls (costs money) or go out to eat (costs money), the Rec-Plex or the Y is even outrageously overpriced, so unless you’re a 2-income family, don’t plan on living here and doing much at all.
I’ve been here 17 years and I’m a single parent on disability and there are NO programs to help anyone unless you already have money.
My plan is to move to a smaller town like Hannibal where all of the houses dont look exactly the same, they actually have a history, and there are things to do that your kids can enjoy that don’t cost a fortune AND the housing is cheap!

St. Peters is a family friendly town. The growth is staggering too, with more and more places to do things, and people to do them with.

It’s a St. Louis suburb with the BEST family living! Great city athletic programs, Rec-Plex, Art Center, Mid Rivers Mall, good schools, affordable housing, Parks and Fitness trails, close to everything – yet far enough away!

If you are looking for a nice, wholesome, mid-western place to raise a family I’d check it out.
