P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center

I wonder why they have a ‘cavern’ downstairs. What purpose did this serve when it was a school? Did they keep the children in dungeons :P ?

Fun place – it’s a modern art museum and out in the courtyard there is always a live DJ and they serve beer, so you can hang around outside drinking and dancing and then wander through the museum.
