from beggining to end, t his almost haunted little mexican town is worth travelling to, especially on the religious festivals such as the San Francisco de Asis time…

if you go up the road out of town you’ll see the entrance to an old silver mine. walk in only a few yards and you’ll start to get a feel for the sacrifice all the workers made for centuries. It’ll make you appreciate the beautiful artwork you’ll see in the churches that much more.

I echo the other entries and add that the church supposedly has a fantastic collection of retablos that I would have loved to see and missed while there.
