Shouldn’t this read Baldi Hot Springs?

Delicious buffet dinner and great to enjoy the hot springs with water heated by the volcano. TONS of pools of varying temperatures. Some hot (too hot to do anything but stick my big toe in), some warm, and some cold. GREAT for your circulation to go between the hot and cold! This place also had waterslides which was fun.

Very romantic place with great atmosphere.

if you go at night its only $10 or maybe $20 to get in… its cooler, beautiful… and the nightlife is a lot of fun!!

Tabacon Hot Springs and Resort is much nicer than Baldi. In fact, don’t miss Tabacon.

The hostel I stayed at in Fortuna had a tour including an Arenal Volcano hike, Tabacon hot springs, and buffet dinner at the resort for $60. I heard it costs $45 to even get into the hot springs, but you will get more time there than you would in a volcano package tour.

These hot springs were awesome. After a week of painting and working in the neighborhood schools of La Paz, these definitely helped to relax the sore muscles. Gorgeous.

go from jacuzzi-like pool to freezing river…people were evacuated few days before we got there because of an eruption from Arenal: you’re that close!! Flora is insanely beautiful
