Aysgarth Falls

Aysgarth is best known for its triple flight of waterfalls. The Aysgarth Falls have been carved out by the River Ure on its way down to mid-Wensleydale. The Upper Fall (pictured) featured in the film Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves starring Kevin Costner. This is a beautiful area in which to walk and is easy to access thanks to two nearby car parks, one of which is situated at the Yorkshire Dales National Park Information Centre.
