Cottage Grove

Was in January 2008. I interviewed for an internship in Portland, so flew into Eugene to stay with my sister in Cottage Grove. The greens in Oregon are so green! Really a deep color. I enjoyed the visit, and though only in Oregon briefly, have a better idea of the area between Eugene and Portland. Hilly, mountains in the distance, logging remnants, moisture and friendly people. Gray skies,too, while I was there!

The Cottage is a decent restaurant. And it has a funky passive solar building.

I was born and raised here. BEAUTIFUL in the summer with two lakes, waterfalls, light rapids and great rivers.
Not worth going to except in the beginnin of July, August, and the end of September.

I have not seen her for a long time…..

Lived here off and on for many years. Its a little logging town, fairly nice people.
