South San Francisco

This is the most friendly environment I’ve ever been in. In the time I’ve lived here, I’ve met the best friends I’ve ever had, and an incredible girl. As an ex-attendant, I can say that South San Francisco High is an excellent school, not only for learning, but for great people and an excellent learning environment. El Camino, the other school, is also a great place. It’s a peaceful community, though the weather’s a bit chilly at times, and I wouldn’t mind living there again.

Check out downtown South San Francisco. It reminds me so much of a little Mexican pueblo (it reminds me of San Jose del Cabo) that I love it. Panaderia Hernandez is a frequented bakery of mine now. Great stuff.

This is a wonderfully diversed city with a great well-run city government, wonderful variety of restaurants, a multi-cultural main street called Grand Avenue, and is close enough to San Francisco but far enough from the hustle and bustle.

Great if you want to feel better about whatever hell-hole you live in.
