Reeperbahn

I thought it was the most depressing place. I saw two bloody fights in two hours; both were broken up by the police and involved parties were rushed to the hospital. The streets are lined with working girls as young as 15 years old, and the sidewalk is absolutely covered in used condoms and broken glass. It just made me sad.

This place isn’t just famous, it is infamous for its nightlife, sex shows. Don’t bring the kids here before previewing for yourself. We rode down the Reeperbahn this morning in a huge group as it is part of the race course for the cycling portion of the triathlon world championships.

Girls, be careful. There is a certian street that you are forbidden to go down. You can tell where it is because it is blocked by a big red wall and it says no women are allowed. I guess they take that very seriously, and will throw stuff at you if you try to walk down the street. Also guys, becareful walking near the McDonalds. That is where all the working girls try to get business. If you don’t want to be hassled then walk on the other side of the street.

...but we spent a fun few hours in “Rosis Bar”.
