Nothing overheard here…it was deathly silent.

A great memorial to those who sacrificed their lives in our behalf.

This memorial has had a guard posted to it 24/7 since 1937. It is a true honor to be one who is selected for this duty.

of the fact that I’ve been around Arlington and D.C. my whole life, and that I’ve been all these places that some people never visit or only dream about visiting.

I’m older now, and I realize just how fortunate I am to be able to go to these places at will, and how much history I am continually surrounded by.

The changing of the guards here is just awesome and spellbinding, very moving.

I took a full roll of film and cried during the changing of the guard. I think everyone should experience this.

I was in the 4th grade when I went here. Even at that young of age, it had a huge impression on me. I was in complete awe!! I would love to go back someday and visit. It is a magnificient place to visit!

I visited here years and years ago. I had the honor/privelege of laying the wreath on the tomb of the unknown soldier. It was quite an experience.
